Why come to us? Why go to a dealer?

To be honest, there are benefits to going to each one! I mean, honestly we have worked at all - Ford way back in the day, Pep Boys, and stayed the longest at an independent shop before branching into our own.

Dealerships: Great for warranty items and recalls. They use parts made for your specific vehicle. Downside, they take forever to repair anything. They mostly only take care of one type of make and the newer models, not the older years. If it's covered under your regular or extended warranty, why not take it in?

Chain Repair Shops: Jiffy Lube, Oil Changers, Firestone, Pep Boys, etc. they are great for in and out service. They have a high turn over vehicle rate to get you back on the road quickly. Some, you may not even have to get out of your vehicle because it is that quick. Downside, most are known for cutting corners to keep costs low.

Independent Repair Shops: Treat every customer as if you were the only one. Use quality parts, and can work on a variety of cars. Seek out one that has certifications and/or lots of experience. Downside, finding one you trust! Ask if they stand behind their labor and parts, that is how you know you find the right one.

Bottom Line: This all comes down to who you trust. You need to trust that the job is done right, they stand behind their work, use quality parts and takes the time to make sure you aren't just another number. Don't be afraid to ask questions: question why they think something needs to be done, what kind of parts are they using and do your own research. A good service center will be happy to have you and will be eager to speak to you and address concerns and questions to help you understand.
